傍晚經文
這話將我救活了．我在患難中、因此得安慰。
經上也是這樣記著說、『首先的人亞當、成了有靈的活人。』〔靈或作血氣〕末後的亞當、成了叫人活的靈。
因為父怎樣在自己有生命、就賜給他兒子也照樣在自己有生命． - 耶穌對他說、復活在我、生命也在我．信我的人、雖然死了、也必復活．凡活著信我的人、必永遠不死。你信這話麼。
生命在他裡頭．這生命就是人的光。凡接待他的、就是信他名的人、他就賜他們權柄、作神的兒女。這等人不是從血氣生的、不是從情慾生的、也不是從人意生的、乃是從神生的。
叫人活著的乃是靈、肉體是無益的．我對你們所說的話、就是靈、就是生命。 - 神的道是活潑的、是有功效的、比一切兩刃的劍更快、甚至魂與靈、骨節與骨髓、都能刺入剖開、連心中的思念和主意、都能辨明。

Evening Scripture
My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being" the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself. - Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
In him was life, and that life was the light of men.Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. - For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
