早上經文
我要求父、父就另外賜給你們一位保惠師、〔或作訓慰師下同〕叫他永遠與你們同在、就是真理的聖靈、乃世人不能接受的．因為不見他、也不認識他．你們卻認識他．因他常與你們同在、也要在你們裡面。
然而我將真情告訴你們．我去是與你們有益的．我若不去、保惠師就不到你們這裡來．我若去、就差他來。
聖靈與我們的心同證我們是神的兒女． - 你們所受的不是奴僕的心、仍舊害怕．所受的乃是兒子心、因此我們呼叫阿爸、父。 - 況且我們的軟弱有聖靈幫助、我們本不曉得當怎樣禱告、只是聖靈親自用說不出來的歎息、替我們禱告。
但願使人有盼望的神、因信、將諸般的喜樂平安、充滿你們的心、使你們藉著聖靈的能力、大有盼望。 - 盼望不至於羞恥．因為所賜給我們的聖靈、將神的愛澆灌在我們心裡。
神將他的靈賜給我們、從此就知道我們是住在他裡面、他也住在我們裡面。

Morning Scripture
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. - For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." - In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. - And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
