傍晚經文
因他使心裡渴慕的人、得以知足、使心裡飢餓的人、得飽美物。
你們若嘗過主恩的滋味、就必如此。
〔大衛在猶大曠野的時候、作了這詩。〕神阿、你是我的神、我要切切的尋求你．在乾旱疲乏無水之地、我渴想你、我的心切慕你。我在聖所中曾如此瞻仰你、為要見你的能力、和你的榮耀。 - 我羨慕渴想耶和華的院宇．我的心腸、我的肉體、向永生神呼籲。〔或作歡呼〕 - 我正在兩難之間、情願離世與基督同在．因為這是好得無比的．
至於我、我必在義中見你的面．我醒了的時候、得見你的形像、〔見或作看〕就心滿意足了。 - 他們不再飢、不再渴．日頭和炎熱、也必不傷害他們．因為寶座中的羔羊必牧養他們、領他們到生命水的泉源．神也必擦去他們一切的眼淚。 - 他們必因你殿裡的肥甘、得以飽足．你也必叫他們喝你樂河的水。 - 我必以肥油使祭司的心滿足．我的百姓也要因我的恩惠知足．這是耶和華說的。

Evening Scripture
for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. - My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. - I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;
And I--in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness. - Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat.For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." - They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. - I will satisfy the priests with abundance, and my people will be filled with my bounty," declares the LORD.
