傍晚經文
〔大衛的詩。〕地和其中所充滿的、世界、和住在其間的、都屬耶和華。
他不知道是我給他五榖新酒、和油、又加增他的金銀、他卻以此供奉〔或作製造〕巴力。因此到了收割的日子、出酒的時候、我必將我的五榖新酒收回、也必將他應當遮體的羊毛和麻、奪回來。
我算甚麼、我的民算甚麼、竟能如此樂意奉獻．因為萬物都從你而來、我們把從你而得的獻給你。我們在你面前是客旅、是寄居的、與我們列祖一樣．我們在世的日子如影兒、不能長存。〔或作沒有長存的指望〕耶和華我們的神阿、我們豫備這許多材料、要為你的聖名建造殿宇、都是從你而來、都是屬你的。 - 因為萬有都是本於他、倚靠他、歸於他．願榮耀歸給他、直到永遠。阿們。
你要囑咐那些今世富足的人、不要自高、也不要倚靠無定的錢財．只要倚靠那厚賜百物給我們享受的神。 - 凡神所造的物、都是好的．若感謝著領受、就沒有一樣可棄的．都因神的道和人的祈求、成為聖潔了。
我的神必照他榮耀的豐富、在基督耶穌裡、使你們一切所需用的都充足。

Evening Scripture
The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;
She has not acknowledged that I was the one who gave her the grain, the new wine and oil, who lavished on her the silver and gold-- which they used for Baal. "Therefore I will take away my grain when it ripens, and my new wine when it is ready. I will take back my wool and my linen, intended to cover her nakedness.
"But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.We are aliens and strangers in your sight, as were all our forefathers. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope.O LORD our God, as for all this abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your Holy Name, it comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you. - For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. - For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
