路得的婆婆拿俄米對他說、女兒阿、我不當為你找個安身之處、使你享福麼．
這樣看來、必另有一安息日的安息、為神的子民存留。 - 我的百姓、必住在平安的居所、安穩的住處、平靜的安歇所。 - 在那裡惡人止息攪擾、困乏人得享安息． - 我聽見從天上有聲音說、你要寫下、從今以後、在主裡面而死的人有福了．聖靈說、是的、他們息了自己的勞苦、作工的果效也隨著他們。
作先鋒的耶穌、既照著麥基洗德的等次、成了永遠的大祭司、就為我們進入幔內。
凡勞苦擔重擔的人、可以到我這裡來、我就使你們得安息。我心裡柔和謙卑、你們當負我的軛、學我的樣式、這樣、你們心裡就必得享安息。因為我的軛是容易的、我的擔子是輕省的。 - 主耶和華以色列的聖者曾如此說、你們得救在乎歸回安息．你們得力在乎平靜安穩．你們竟自不肯．

Evening Scripture
One day Naomi her mother-in-law said to her, "My daughter, should I not try to find a home for you, where you will be well provided for?
There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; - My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest. - There the wicked cease from turmoil, and there the weary are at rest. - Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them."
where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." - This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.
