我們是奴僕、然而在受轄制之中、我們的神仍沒有丟棄我們、在波斯王眼前向我們施恩、叫我們復興、能重建我們神的殿、修其毀壞之處、使我們在猶大和耶路撒冷有牆垣。
親愛的弟兄阿、有火煉的試驗臨到你們、不要以為奇怪、（似乎是遭遇非常的事） - 你們所忍受的、是神管教你們、待你們如同待兒子．焉有兒子不被父親管教的呢。管教原是眾子所共受的、你們若不受管教、就是私子、不是兒子了。
你也不可聽那先知、或是那作夢之人的話、因為這是耶和華你們的神試驗你們、要知道你們是盡心、盡性、愛耶和華你們的神不是。
耶和華既喜悅選你們作他的子民、就必因他的大名不撇棄你們。 - 婦人焉能忘記他喫奶的嬰孩、不憐恤他所生的兒子．即或有忘記的、我卻不忘記你。 - 以雅各的神為幫助、仰望耶和華他神的、這人便為有福。
神的選民、晝夜呼籲他、他縱然為他們忍了多時、豈不終久給他伸冤麼。我告訴你們、要快快的給他們伸冤了．然而人子來的時候、遇得見世上有信德麼。

Morning Scripture
Though we are slaves, our God has not deserted us in our bondage. He has shown us kindness in the sight of the kings of Persia: He has granted us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins, and he has given us a wall of protection in Judah and Jerusalem.
Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. - Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.
you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul.
For the sake of his great name the LORD will not reject his people, because the LORD was pleased to make you his own. - "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! - Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,
And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"
